Tak! Moje stopy były na afrykanskim gruncie. Uamiechnełam sie do siebie, po czym przykucnełam i musiałam dotknac reka ziemi, która własnie mnie pochłoneła. Kraina, która jeszcze dwa tygodnie temu była kształtem na mapie swiata.
To był moment, w którym po raz pierwszy przywitałam ziemie Tanzanii.
Po raz pierwszy dotknełam piasku i po raz pierwszy odkurzyłam reka kurz,
który wkrótce miał sie okazac wszechobecnym towarzyszem mojej przygody z Tanzania.
I looked down where my feet were standing.
Yes! My feet were on African ground. I smiled to myself, then crouched down and had to touch the ground that had just taken me in with my hand. The land that just two weeks ago was a shape on the world map.
This was the moment when I greeted the land of Tanzania for the first time.
For the first time I touched the sand and for the first time I dusted my hand with dust,
which would soon turn out to be the ubiquitous companion of my adventure with Tanzania.
